Concept

"Art is always the vehicle to bring dream and vision for mankind"
AQUARK invites Artists to imagine, visualize and present an optimistic vision of our life in the oceans in 2108.

An international committee of Art History professors, Video Art experts and Film directors will screen the submissions and will select the twenty best works to be presented in Gran Canaria in May 2008.

These works will be presented in Lopesan-Costa Meloneras hotel in Maspalomas Gran Canaria and the three best will be awarded in the dinner of the General Assembly of the Federation of European Aquaculture Producers(FEAP)on Friday the 23rd of May 2008.

DEADLINES

  • The competition officially opens on February 10th 2008.
  • EXTENTION of REGISTRATION to 20th of APRIL 2008!!!
  • The Submition of the videos ends on April 30th 2008

Dr. Yannis Kolokotronis was born in Athens, in 1962. He is Professor of Art History at the Democritus University of Thrace (dept. of Architectural Engineering).
